Our medical doctor brings a wealth of experience and dedication to patient care. Originally from Belen, New Mexico, he grew up on the Zuni reservation and in his hometown of Belen. He began his career at the U.S. Military Academy and went on to serve 12 years in the U.S. Army before earning his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
He then joined the U.S. Navy, where he spent 15 years as a family physician, Flight Surgeon, and Anesthesiologist—serving both on land and at sea with the 5th Fleet Hospital, the USS Abraham Lincoln, and the USS Carl Vinson. After retiring from military service, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management, further expanding his expertise.
